Awesome 90s DTM And 2014 GT3 Cars Released For Race Room

RaceRoom Racing Experience is a free-to-play racing simulation for the PC with additional car and track packs available for purchase. The game was released initially in 2012 from developer SimBin Studios, known for its long history of development for extremely realistic racing simulators. RaceRoom is used both by professionals as training tools and amateur virtual racers, and it is about as far from arcade racing as you can get.

This year SimBin shut its doors, and most of their team reunited within a new company, Sector3 Studios. The Swedish developer is committed to keeping RaceRoom’s place among the top simulators with improved technology, frequent content updates and more community events.

The newest car pack available on RaceRoom is a special treat for enthusiasts who want to experience the feel of the early nineties racing. You will have the same handling, speed and sounds of the DTM series two decades ago right in your own home. There are 25 car liveries and these five models:

• BMW M3 Sport Evolution
• Ford Mustang GT DTM
• Mercedes 190E Evo II DTM
• Opel Omega 3000 Evo500
• Audi V8 DTM

ADAC GT Masters Experience 2014

With no time wasted from the end of the 2014 ADAC GT Masters season in October to the launch of the new RaceRoom content, the new experience pack is also available now and contains all 16 races at the eight tracks from the 2014 season. There are 19 cars in the pack including the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3, BMW Z4 GT3, Corvette Z06.R GT3, McLaren MP4-12C GT3, Chevrolet Camaro GT and Audi R8 LMS ultra.

The new pack can be played in Championship, Practice, Single Race, Online Multiplayer, Online Competitions or Online Leaderboard Challenge game modes. The Online Multiplayer mode remains an important focus for development as Sector3 tries to improve the social racing experience.

The most exciting features of the new content are the improved AI and the driver swap. The improved computer opponents will learn from your driving and adapt to your skill level, constantly pushing you to get better. In each of the ADAC GT Masters races there is a driver swap that takes place during a pit stop. You will need to team up with another driver who has the skill to hold up your team while you aren’t in the cockpit.

Fanatec Competition

RaceRoom is no stranger to public competitions, but this current contest is huge. Until 23 January 2015, anyone who records a lap in the BMW M3 GT2 at Portimao will get the limited edition Fanatec livery and have a chance to win digital downloads, Fanatec hardware and RaceRoom hardware.

The top 50 finishers in each difficulty will receive prizes, and an additional 101 participants will be given prizes at random. Only players in Europe are eligible to win the hardware prizes, but the digital codes are available worldwide.
