This Awesome Trailer Will Get You Excited For New Top Gear
The second season of the new NEW Top Gear looks like it'll hit the mark with us car lovers if this funny trailer is anything to go by! I for one am excited...
Unpopular opinion here: The Grand Tour was underwhelming. Yes, it was funny, but it’s very obviously not aimed towards petrol-heads. There is more comedy than cars whereas in the old Top Gear they balanced it out perfectly. I am actually excited about the new Top Gear as it will be more about the cars and less about the humour and jokes.
I agree 100%, GT tries to appeal to people who aren’t particularly into cars. The trio act really forced and rigid.
The first episode was enough to put me off
+1 I think that first few episodes of the Grand Tour were horrible, and the rest slightly better, but still forgettable. They are trying to be Monty Python with cars and it ain’t working. It looks even more scripted and fake than worst of the old Top Gear. James May’s Le Mans segment and bits of the Moroccan episode are the only parts that stand out so far, for me.

You have to remember they are also very restricted because BBC is looking for any opportunity to sue them because they’re mad the trio is competing with them. They even said they can’t have a “the news” section, that’s why they have “conversation street”
Looking forward to the new Top Gear season. People need to stop comparing it to the old trio and be happy we now have potentially 2 good cars shows

Well, yes I want to watch it! Hopefully the challenges will have a brief backstory before showing the actual film.
If by mojo, you meant “completely underwhelming video of something no more spectacular than what me and my friends did in highschool on any given Saturday”, then Yes, they’ve found their mojo.
Look on the bright side everyone that’s complaining, now we have 2 car shows to watch :) plus with no Chris Evans it’s better already I’d say…
