Someone using Variomatic?
Anyone care for powertool racing??
That sounds a bit dangerous, but also very fun XD
There is one little car that would be king at this, the DAF. The Variomatic allows the same speed in reverse as it does forward.

Ah, the original CVT. I know someone who used to have one of these things, he has mentioned that they can go as fast backwards as forwards
That or Volvo 340 with variomatic. I once tested in fozen lake how fast it goes backwards, 130km/h (80mph) was the higest I managed before spinning… There wasn’t much wheelspin, but assuming there was it might have taken me down to 110km/h (70mph) range…
Due to having a CVT coupled to an ‘inverter’ (which just inverts to do reverse), my car shares the same peculiar feature of that DAF! Same speed in reverse as forward (a meer 70kph though). And so do most microcars :)
this car would win
Came to say that… because FWD with a backwards body.
Backwards Nascar*
We all know who the real winner would be
hahaha good one
Hahaha this is a few miles from my house! Beech Ridge Speedway is home to all sorts of ridiculousness. Just youtube ‘beech ridge spectator drags” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnzInUs8vss
I remember a couple of events ago, a white Camaro Z/28 showed up and kicked the crap out of one of the Barry Brothers. Then last time there was the sleeper Dodge Neon. I love going to Beechridge. So entertaining.
