This Is The Biggest Focus RS Drift Mode Fail We’ve Ever Seen
A Ford Focus RS driver attempts to drift a hairpin on a twisty New York state road, but gets it completely wrong - with expensive consequences...
Fortunately, it looks like the driver was uninjured in the crash. The accident happened in New Paltz, New York, during a cruise organised by the NY ST club. According to the uploader, the organisation operates a zero tolerance policy toward dangerous driving, and the RS pilot responsible “was immediately booted from our club”.
This isn’t the first Drift Mode crash we’ve seen, and I fear it won’t be the last…

I was just up there going back road driving
I’ve been going down route 44 and bear mountain every time I go upstate and that hairpin is rough, understeer like crazy or too much lift off oversteer. This sucks, hopefully driver is okay
Future B is for Build Project?
This Is The Biggest Focus RS Drift Mode Fail We’ve Ever Seen - So Far. Let’s wait and see how long it takes until the Focus RS get’s up with the Mustang…
Guess the driver was focus to dicth his focus instead of drifting it
Let’s see, so they have a zero policy tolerance for dangerous driving, yet “This isn’t the first Drift Mode crash we’ve seen, and I fear it won’t be the last…”? Then why the pluck is it called “DRIFT” Mode? Maybe you should change the name, I think it could be a little misleading and cause someone to, oh I don’t know, dangerously drift!
John Cadogan is jizzing his pants right now.
How much for the wing?
That would be his firST and laST accident with that car
And that ladies and gentlemen, is one of the reasons why we have to pay a sh*t load of cash for insurance…
