This Biker's 'Scrape' With Death Will Render You Speechless

This incredible footage comes from the helmet camera of Renan Ribas, a Brazilian student who is extremely lucky to be alive after Volkswagen Polo clipped the rear of his motorcycle.

Ribas was riding along the BR-280 highway in São Francisco do Sul with his cousin on the back when the incident happened. If you needed any clue as to just how close they came to tragedy, you can hear the Polo clip the motorbike.

According to Carscoops, the car caught fire, but this was quickly brought under control by passers by. Its two occupants were taken to hospital in a stable condition.
