The BMW 6-Series GT Doesn't Look So Bad When Turned Into An M6
The BMW 5-series GT is dead. And we’re not exactly shedding a tear over the 5-series derivative - partly because it was always a clunky-looking thing, and partly because it’s already been reborn as the 6-series Gran Turismo. Lucky us.
Visually, it’s an improvement on the old 5er GT, but still no oil painting. But what if M Division got hold of it? This isn’t something we’re expecting, but hey, there’s no harm in imagining. And as ever, we have someone to facilitate our curious dreams: X-Tomi Design.
The Hungarian renderer has given the 6-series GT the full M Division treatment, and the results are pretty interesting. It’s certainly much easier on the eye than the standard car with its big wheels and more aggressive front bumper, and remember, with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet kicking out around 600bhp, it’s not it’d ever be in your field of vision for particularly long…
