Brace Yourselves: Lister Will Make A 666bhp Jaguar F-Pace
Like the look of the new 666bhp, Jaguar F-Type-based Lister Thunder, but want something more practical? We have some good news.
Talking to TopGear.com, Lawrence Whittaker - boss of the re-born British brand famous for cars like the Knobbly and the Storm supercar - confirmed that an F-Pace-based ‘Lister Lightning’ will happen. That’s right, Lister is going to give the incoming F-Pace SVR - a car which hasn’t even been revealed yet - a 666bhp makeover. Now that’s forward planning.
“I think it’s something we can do a really good job of,” Whittaker told Top Gear, adding, “The likes of Overfinch don’t focus on engine mods anymore. We focus on making cars as fast as humanly possible. We want to be tuning every element.” It’s hard to argue with that ethos, and from the sounds of it, Whittaker eventually wants to make a Lister version of every Jaguar in the line-up.
So, it’s not just the 641bhp Lamborghini Urus that needs to watch its back…

You have the Alfa Giulia QV. And the Stelvio QV.
You have the Lister Thunder. And the Lister Lightning. Yay!
Wow, I forgot about Lister. Where’ve they been the last decade???
Pretty quiet, like every other small British firm
Lister is just like hitting the ground running. I’d love to see them tune a base diesel XE because after THAT no one will say diesels are boring…
Woohoo… a powerfull crossover… how fun
Isn’t the lightning supposed to come before the thunder
What would happen if dodge makes a demon SUV and buggatti a chiron SUV.🤔🤔
