This Brilliant Senna Animation Aims To Inspire Brazilian Athletes
Working with JWT and Le Cube, Instituto Ayrton Senna has created this brilliant animation, with the intention of inspiring Brazilian athletes as they compete on home soil
The commentary in the background of the video is Senna describing how he took victory at the 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix, recognised as one of the greatest achievements of his career. It was his first win on home soil - hence why it’s being used to inspire Brazilian athletes as they compete in the Rio Olympics - and one he achieved despite having serious gearbox issues nearing the end of the race.

This is one of the greatest animations i’ve ever seen! If only there was a tv show based on this….
YES.
We need to make this happen.
we NEED some sort of motorsport in the olympics.
We do. Isnt it called Race of Champions or something?
Why wasn’t any Senna related stuff in the Olimpics opening?? I know he wasn’t an Olimpic athlete or anything but I think he deserved it, its the first time the olimpics go to Brazil and Senna is a Brazilian icon
That scream sends shivers down my spine whenever I hear it.
Am I the only one that cried?
No
The feels men, the feels…
i’m gonna cry
