Buying A Crash-Damaged Superbike Is Actually A Genius Move
Buying a crash-damaged vehicle should usually be avoided. But if you're careful, you can find a great bargain. How about a £19,000 BMW HP4 for £6000? Yes please...
Pretty much all my bikes were ex-crash bikes. Saves you a ton of money and as the fairings are already scratched you can use the bike without having to worry about those.
It’s Barron
The real question is will he take it off road ?
I just recently picked up a 2004 Honda CBR600RR for $1100. Has a small crack in the tail and needs a new mirror and windscreen.
It’s a brilliant idea of your planning on riding the bike the way it was meant to be ridden without fear of messing up your expensive bike. Yes if he was planning to restore and sell the bike he’d make next to nothing but his plan is to ride it and enjoy it so good on him.
The only thing I don’t like about that model in general is the front. Seeing the headlights I’m always reminded of this guy (Karl Dall, german actor):

Why couldn’t they give it symetrical headlights?
