The strapping gentleman above is Trevor Humphreys, a firefighter in Chichester. Some time between 4pm on Friday 17th May and 9am the following Saturday, Trevor's Mini - which was in the process of being restored - was stolen.

This isn't just any old Mini, however. This belonged to Trevor's great aunt, who died eight years ago. For that reason, there's added sentimental value attached here. After being restored, the Mini was intended to be used by Trevor's son to learn to drive in.

First registered in 1992, the Mini has done just 18,000 miles, which Trevor reckons makes it worth about £3000.

This is the very Mini in question. This is the very Mini in question.

Having taken to the forums of local Owner's Clubs in the hope that something might turn up, Trevor's been delighted by the help people have offered; in the hope of encouraging answers he's also put up a £500 reward.

So we're opening it up to you, the wonderful community that is #TeamCT! In his job as a firefighter he's no doubt saved countless lives, so let's help save his car if we can.

The vehicle was on three wheels at the time of the theft, which perhaps increases the likelihood it's been broken for parts. Listed below is all the relevant information that may help you identify Trevor's Mini, or at least any parts that came from it:
