Choose One Of Four Awesome Ferrari 599s At The Same Auction

Anyone with a hankering for a Ferrari 599 really ought to get themselves down to an auction happening later this month at the Dallas Burston Polo Club. Which, confusingly, is near Coventry, rather than Dallas.

Anyway, the Silverstone Auctions event on 21 September will feature four of the things, ranging from expensive to…very expensive.

The least pricey of the quartet is a 2007 GTB Fiorano, expected to go for £90,000 - £105,000. It’s a UK-spec right-hand drive vehicle with only 26,000 miles on the odometer.

Our next V12 Ferrari super GT is a 60 F1 Alonso Final Edition. Fernando’s time at Scuderia Ferrari may not have yielded the third title he craved, but it did result in a very lovely limited-edition 599.

Based on a 599 with the £14,000 HGTE (Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione) package, the Alonso Final Edition has Rosso F1 Storico paintwork complemented with white highlights. The estimate for this 8000-mile car - one of 60 produced - is £220,000 to £260,000.

Upping the rarity factor even further is this 2008 GTB. It looks ordinary enough, but open a door, and you’ll see why it’s special - it has a manual gearbox. Only 30 599s worldwide had their V12s hooked up to a gated manual six-speed, with all others specced with the ‘F1’ robotised manual transmission. Yes, rich people are weird.

Only 10 of the 30 made it to Europe. This left-hand drive example was originally registered in Switzerland, but it now wears UK plates. It’s done 19,000 kilometres and is expected to go for somewhere between £365,000 and £400,000.

If nothing but the most extreme road-going 599 will do, look no further than this GTO. Lighter and more powerful than the GTB, the 599X’s street-legal cousin famously lapped Ferrari’s Fiorano test track one second faster than the Enzo.

The Avus Bianco one you’re looking at here was delivered new by Ferrari Singapore, making its way to the UK a couple of years ago. It’s covered 10,920 kilometres and is one of around 60 right-hand drive GTOs. It’s set to be the most expensive of the four, with the estimate listed as £400,000 to £460,000.
