Civic's Burnout Showboating Ends In Humiliation

This Civic driver shows off his sweet moves, so a biker cop shows his appreciation with blues and twos
Just givin' the people what they want. Just givin' the people what they want.

The Woodward Cruise is a massive car show that takes place in Detroit every summer. Starting in 1995 as a fundraiser for a local soccer football field, the event attracted 250,000 people. The event has grown hugely, and about 1.5 million petrolheads and 40,000 classic cars have been known to attend.

With all those people watching, the urge to show off often takes over. Take this kid in a tastefully modified Honda Civic as an example. After his mate's feeble attempt at smoking, he mashes the pedal and burns rubber to appease his insatiable audience.

This cop clearly doesn't care if VTEC kicked in, yo. This cop clearly doesn't care if VTEC kicked in, yo.

That's when a beautiful moment occurs. A biker cop takes his cue like a Glastonbury headline act strutting onto the stage through billowing smoke. The crowd cheer and laugh at the expense of our poor Civic-driving friend, as another cop appears on the scene. The lesson here? Smoking's bad, m'kay.
