Clarkson, Hammond And May's New Car Show Could Be Called 'Gear Knobs'

If the revelation on BuzzFeed turns out to be true, then the new name for Clarkson, Hammond And May’s new car show could be ‘Gear Knobs’.

The website also found out that the alternate ‘Gear Nobs’ name was trademark registered at the same time in June, with another name, ‘Speedbird’, registered in July. The latter could be linked to a Stig replacement.

Naturally, we’re taking this news with a fist-sized pinch of salt (the names could well have been trademark-registered as a jokey decoy), but I think I speak for us all when I say that I really hope that these names come to fruition!
