Colin McRae Rally Brings Retro Gaming To iOS

Codemasters' definitive rally simulation, Colin McRae Rally, is now available for iOS devices. Can you feel the nostalgia?

Colin McRae Rally for iOS is a rework of 2001's Colin McRae Rally 2.0, with 30 classic rally stages that can be attacked in a Ford Focus, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI, Lancia Stratos or Subaru Impreza. The impressive handling and physics models are in full effect, too, as well as damage modelling that shows just how far gaming has come since the turn of the millennium.

Players have the option to tilt their device to turn, while co-driver Nicky Grist barks commands as you navigate the 130km of track in the game. You'll even feel the difference as you race the clock on gravel and tarmac.

Colin McRae Rally is available from the App Store for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, and costs £2.99 ($4.99).
