Could The New Hennessey Venom F5 Hypercar Hit 300mph?
By the end of this year, we’ll have been treated to a brand new hypercar from Hennessey, and there’s just one standout figure we can offer right now. The top speed of the Venom F5 will ‘approach’ 300mph – potentially the first road car to achieve it.
Instead of using a stretched, Frankenstein-esque Lotus Exige as a base, Hennessey is creating its own car to take on the Bugatti Chiron for the title of world’s fastest production car.
It’s named not after the refresh button on your computer keyboard, but after the F5 tornado. That’s the most powerful wind on earth, and the fact that F5 wind speeds measure between 261mph and 318mph might hint at what we can look forward to in the next few years.
The Venom F5 is the first car to emerge from Hennessey’s Special Vehicles offshoot, which sits alongside the famous tuning company. The on-site facilities include proving grounds and a quarter-mile dragstrip.
“The best way I can describe the Venom F5,” says John Hennessey, founder and CEO, “is that it is sophisticated aggression on wheels. We look forward to sharing F5 with the world later this year.”
It’s time to get excited.

Heh, They should have Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar do an Advert for this F5.
But will it steal its customers money…?

It might well be able to hit 300mph, but even if it does, I’d much rather have the Chiron. The thing with Bugattis is that they make hitting these speeds easy, whereas the Venom is lairy and should probably only be driven by experts.
I do agree the Bugatti would be a much more pleasant experience, but then, someone who can afford this will have an F5 for Saturdays and a Chiron for Sundays, so it won’t really be an issue for them. But then, you’ll actually receive your car from Bugatti…
lets hope that hennessey remembers to go both ways this time. (as if it mattered last time) lol huh
Remember; Hennything is possible.
Why does it look like Jackson storm mixed with a Regera
I wonder what happenef to the SSC Tuatara
The real question is… will any cars actually make it to their customers without him running off with all their money this time?
Now he can run off with their money faster than ever before!
