This Crazy 6x6 Mercedes G63 AMG Is The Most Epic Merc Ever

Just when we thought Mercedes was done creating super-niche cars we don't want (and not creating the one car we actually need), it lands this crazy, six-wheeled bombshell on us.

Called the G63 AMG 6x6, this twin-turbocharged 5.5-litre V8 AMG monster produces 536bhp, weighs a titanic 3775kg and costs - when it goes on sale in October - a cool £350,000. Remember that question we asked you yesterday - 'How Else Would You Spend The McLaren P1's £866,000 Asking Price?' - yeh, I think this Mercedes 6x6 would be high up on my list too...

Performance? You bet: the G63 AMG 6x6 will hit 62mph in around 6.0sec and go on to a top speed limited to 100mph.

Further features of Merc's mental six-wheel drive monster include a double cab, gargantuan 37-inch wheels and a high and low ratio 7G-tronic seven-speed automatic gearbox.

Its colossal 5875mm length, 2110mm width and 2210mm height makes the G63 6x6 1106mm longer, 225mm wider and 272mm higher than the standard 4x4 model.
