This Crazy Batman Tumbler Stole The Show At This Year's Gumball 3000

In between the typical Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Koennigseggs cruising the Scandinavian highways at this year's Gumball 3000 event is something a little bit special. What you see here is the creation of Team Galag, who lived out their Batman fantasies by creating their very own Tumbler from scratch.

This Saudi Arabian team drove a Mercedes SLS AMG and Lamborghini Aventador in 2012's rally, however they felt that this year should be even more special. Weighing in at 2.5 tonnes and 2 foot longer than a Hummer, this road legal tank is also built to scale, exhibiting the team's dedication to recreating Christopher Nolan's masterpiece.

‘One of our team members is crazy about all things Dark Knight, and it’s been an idea of his to build a Tumbler for a while now,’ the team explains. With copious amounts of cash - reportedly more than £1 million invested - they approached Parker Brothers Concepts, who had been considering creating a Tumbler for some time - "When ideas line up like that, it can be very magical."
