CT Meets: Ronan Parke & 2012 Skoda Citigo

What's it like to meet "UK's answer to Justin Bieber"? And what's it like to drive the 2012 Best City Car and according to a couple of others... Car of The Year? We managed to do both last week when we drove up to Norwich to meet Ronan Parke, the 13-year-old singing sensation.

Stay tuned for the full review of the 2012 Skoda Citigo coming soon on the newly minted CT, but for now, there are a couple of things to note.

Firstly, what a great car the Citigo is. Our test car came with sport decals, alloys, in-car navigation and still only weighed in at £9,600. With a 60 horsepower, 1-litre engine, this car sounds the bomb and is frugal too with decent economy. It's so well-built, you wonder why you'd ever buy something like a Toyota Aygo.

Second, what a nice chap Ronan Parke is. His new single, "We Are Shooting Stars" is out today and as a fellow young gun, we're happy to have had a chance to ask him about life at school as a young star and to find out how he rated the Citigo.

And finally, Norwich. None of Team CT had ever dared to venture to Norfolk and we were all pleasantly surprised with its charm and rural beauty.

Suffice to say, if Ronan fancies another meetup, we'll head there again in the near future. Possibly in Skoda's Citigo. Because it's definitely high up on our want list.
