Xu Feng, a local government spokesperson, confirmed that the impromptu bulldozer carnage arose as a result of two rival construction firms competing for business. He wasn’t able to give any details about injuries or arrests due to an ongoing investigation, but we should think the authorities didn’t take too kindly to the display.
