This Is The Dodge Charger’s Focused New Face For 2019

This Is The Dodge Charger’s Focused New Face For 2019

Dodge has given us a sneak peek of how the 2019 Charger is shaping up. This lone teaser image shows the new grille, including an integrated intake for the supercharger.

The grille on show is slimmer than before, which makes more of the SRT Hellcat logo and gives a meaner, more focused look in contrast to the current European ‘wisdom’ of making the grilles about 50 per cent bigger than they really should be.

There’s more information to come this summer, says Dodge, and maybe another picture or two. The Charger’s updates will likely mirror the two-door Challenger’s, but whether the Charger gets those mean-looking nostrils as well, we’ll have to wait and see.

It kinda sucks that manufacturers keep putting bigger grilles on cars. What happened I will never know, but a bigger grille doesn’t make a car look good. It’s all about balance in design.

I’ve always been a fan of big grilles but only when done right.

I really don’t like the front of this gen Charger, to me they went from: Wtf are you looking at/get out of my way… to a stretched eye pufferfish trying to say: ‘la’

And it has more design cues to the original 1970 one than the Pre-2013 models

I’d never give a second look to any last gen chargers, the rear lights were too big and cartoonish, the front lights never really matched the design, the front was awful and the car overall looked out of proportion. The new gens look so pleasant i cant stop looking at them, i almost want to buy one just to put in my driveway and stare at it
