Don't Want To Wait For Project Cars? Get A Load Of Grid Autosport
Codemasters has announced a brand-new addition to the Grid franchise, which it hopes will move the series back in line as a more authentic racing game.
It's fair to say that Grid 2 left racing gamers disappointed with its lack of proper racing tracks, the absence of a cockpit view and handling that was more on the arcade side of the spectrum.
However, Grid Autosport looks set to right all those wrongs, as it'll feature five racing disciplines (Touring, Endurance, Open Wheel, Tuner and Street), 22 primarily circuit-based locations with a combined route list of over 100, and a more realistic handling style.
This trailer was released to coincide with the announcement and it gives a sneak peak of what the game will offer when it's released on June 27th for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
We can't wait. More information and content on Grid Autosport will be released over the coming weeks and months, but for now, check out Codemasters' blog on the game.
