Drifting With An Aeroplane Yoke Is Possible But We Wouldn’t Recommend It
John Wagner of the 'Bloodmasters' drift team decided to try and go sideways in his Nissan 240SX with an unusual modification - a fighter jet-style yoke in place of the steering wheel

When you are a drifter, but Knight rider is life!
Guess you could say that idea is never going to take off…
Basically a Cryslus Rocket 69
Imagine trying to grab it when it’s spinning and it hitting you right in the hand with the top part… ouch
Well not a fighter Yoke, more like a GA yoke, It even has the PTT button and cables hanging LOL
Fighters usually has control sticks or sidesticks.
If the steering was a 90degrees to full turn (kinda go kart style) it would work, on a plane the Yoke doesn’t turn more than 100 degrees max.
But is fun to watch.
i was about to comment that, because i dont think fighter even use a yoke,i know the bomber do but still,no fighter
it is not that different from F1 style wheels, they turn it about 170/180 degrees
what about flying with a steering wheel???
A military fighter jet doesn’t use a yolk. It uses a stick
i want to see someone drifting with saab joystick
Let’s see him try it with this
I once tried with a steering wheel knob.
Slipped out of my hand mid drift, nearly hit a lamp post.
Never again.
