Dumping A Chevy V8 Into A Maserati Merak Is So Wrong It's Right

In the world of engine swaps, we can't imagine many things more controversial than chucking some American muscle under the hood of a gorgeous Italian exotic.
But that's exactly what these guys have done, swapping a 1975 Maserati Merak's V6 for a Chevrolet 350 V8. The V8 is mated to the original five-speed transaxle via a bespoke housing.
The bodywork looks to be in pretty much mint condition, while the cream interior is incredibly tidy for a near 40-year-old car, with all of the instruments working correctly.
