Even At Light Throttle, The Apollo IE's V12 Sounds Amazing
Apollo has released testing footage of its Intensa Emozione track special, and we can't wait to see and hear more
Even though it’s super-limited, super-expensive and limited to the track, we can’t help but be wowed by Apollo’s incredible IE hypercar. When the use of turbochargers and hybrid systems is becoming ever more prevalent in high-end supercars and hypercars, the idea of something using a massive, naturally-aspirated V12 and nothing else is pretty damn heroic.
Now, we get to hear the 6.3-litre, 769bhp unit for the first time. Well, at “light throttle” and under 4000rpm, during this short clip of testing at Cremona Circuit in Italy. But if it sounds this good with the throttle being tickled, imagine what it’s going to be like at maximum attack…
