Every Volvo XC90 Launch Edition Sold Out In Just 47 Hours
Last week Volvo took the wraps off its highly anticipated XC90, the first production car to feature its Scalable Product Architecture and new design language.
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and the proof is in the sales. Volvo put 1927 special First Edition models up for sale online, and they were all snapped up in just 47 hours. Most of the cars were sold in the first hour, with sales reaching a peak of seven per minute.
What’s special about the First Edition? Unique Onyx Black paint is slapped on the exterior, with eight-spoke, 21-inch wheels enhancing the style. Inside the seats are wrapped in nappa leather, with a Charcoal leather dashboard.
UK owners snapped up 55 of the limited run, and their cars will be powered by the new four-cylinder twin turbo diesel engine, making 225hp.
