An Extended Cars 3 Trailer Is Here

After dropping a couple of teasers, Disney Pixar has released the first full trailer for Cars 3

We’ve seen a short teaser and had a look at two new characters, but now Disney Pixar has released a full Cars 3 trailer for us to enjoy. Well, an ‘extended sneak peek’, as it’s being called.

It shows us - well, not anything more than we already know about the film. It’s all about Lightning McQueen - voiced by Owen Wilson - getting on a bit, and struggling against young upstarts like Jackson Storm, the film’s antagonist.

But it does look pretty spectacular, and we can’t wait to watch it. And yes, it’s OK to watch it if you’re not a kid. We think.

It’ll be released on 16 June.

Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.

I might officially be an adult now, but you’re never to old for Cars. I love the graphics and the story looks more promising than Cars 2

I watched Cars and Cars 2 for the first time when I was already an adult and I liked them a lot

I love the way they make the electric racecars the enemy

In one of the teasers they said it was still powered by a V8.

The antagonist isn’t electric. The trailer mentioned that he had a V8. So most likely it’ll be a hybrid.

Its because its true… they know what their doing for this movie.

Why does this feel like Rocky IV, but with cars? Jackson Storm being Drago, with all the money and best equipment behind him to get results, while McQueen has to go back to his roots and train old school, culminating in a final battle.
It has that vibe…
