The Facelifted BMW 7-Series And Its Giant Kidney Grilles Have Been Leaked
BMW’s big kidney grille design trend shows no signs of slowing down. Having revealed the X7 and the latest X5 with some conspicuously large front teeth last year, the facelifted ‘LCI’ (Life Cycle Impulse) 7-series has been leaked in configurator images showing a similar arrangement.
The kidney grilles look to be about the same size as the X7’s, but on the 7er’s lower frame, it gives an aesthetic you might describe as ‘strong’. Subtle it is not.
If you can avert your eyes from those big, gaping holes in the front for just a moment, there are plenty of other changes going on. There are new headlights, a reshaped bumper -plus a vent-festooned version for M Sport-spec cars - and new side grilles which are now near-vertical rather than pointing up diagonally as before.
At the rear, you’ll find new light clusters which are neatly joined by a light bar stretching over the number plate. As with the front, there’s a new bumper, which can be switched out for an angrier-looking M Sport version.
The engine line-up should look fairly familiar, although there should be improvements to power and efficiency across the board. Yes, that potentially means an even more potent version of the V12-powered M760Li.
What do you think of the 7-series’ new face?

Here’s what I think
New rendering leaked: using Photoshop
I just wanna point out that, in this picture, the top grille does pretty much nothing. mostly just plastic chrome inserts!
Well you either like it or not. The 7 series customers will keep buying.
2030 cars will be like:
50% grill
45% massive screens
5% car
Will it even be a car at all? Or will it be classified as a “smart device”? 🤔
It looks like it was photoshopped by a five year old BMW fanboy
Is it April already?
It reminds me of a polar bear with a really big nose..

Can’t help but see this.
they look nothing alike.
This is a Nissan trying to be a Jag, while the BMW is a BMW
