Fan Of F1 Gaming? Here's A New Sneak Peek At F1 2013
With just a few weeks to go until the release of F1 2013 and F1 2013 Classic Edition on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, Codemasters - the game's developer - has released new screenshots and a TV ad of the game.
Alongside TV advertising, Codemasters has taken its marketing one step further by wrapping four London taxis in F1 2013 livery. These taxis will feature F1 2013 trailers and videos played on loop for passengers alongside branded receipts and seating.
On selected days the taxis will also feature consoles for special pop-up events taking place around the capital. If you spot one, snap a picture and tweet it with the hashtags #F12013 and #SpottedTaxi for a chance to win some exciting prizes.
F1 2013 - the fifth Formula 1 game developed by Codemasters - will be released in Europe on October 4th and in North America four days later.
Two editions of the game will be released, the standard version and a special 'Classic Edition'. This is due to an all new aspect of the game: F1 Classics. Gamers will get the chance to race 80s and 90s F1 machinery around all 19 circuits on the 2013 calendar, alongside a handful of classic tracks too.
The standard edition of the game will feature 80s machinery and two classic tracks: Circuit de Jerez and Brands Hatch. The 'Classic Edition' meanwhile includes the content of the standard edition plus 90s F1 cars and two more circuits: Imola and Estoril. However, beware as there'll be just 10,000 copies of the 'Classic Edition' available in the UK.
You can pre-order the game on the official F1 Games by Codemasters Facebook page here and head over to their official website for more information.
You can also check out the new TV advert below which features brand new gameplay.
