Can’t quite afford a Dodge Viper? At $14,900 (£9200), this one’s a little more affordable than most. But, there’s a catch: it has no body. Spotted on Craigslist by Car Buzz, this accident-damaged 2003 Viper had all of its body panels removed by the salvage yard from which it was purchased.

The airbags were deployed in the crash, but according to the seller, the chassis and suspension are fine, and the car ‘drives straight without vibration.’

Sitting in the engine bay is an 8.3-litre V10 capable of 500hp and 525ft lb of torque, so we can’t help but think this Viper could form the basis of a seriously fast custom car project.
