Fast And Furious' Famous Toyota Supra Sold For $185,000
It may be lacking turbochargers - and an actual working nitrous system - but that didn’t stop Paul Walker’s famous orange Supra going for a rather tidy sum at auction. When it was announced recently that the car was to be auctioned off, we were expecting it to be expensive, and expensive it was: it ended up going for $185,000 (£120,000) when it went under the hammer at Mecum’s 28th Original Spring Classic in Indiana last week.
One of several stunt cars used in The Fast and the Furious - the film that kicked off the lucrative franchise we know, love and lightly mock from time to time - this Supra came complete with a Bomex bodykit, Dazz Motorsport alloy wheels and a roll cage. If the winner of the auction is reading this, please don’t go racing any Dodge Chargers. It’ll only end in tears.
