An FBI Anti-Terror Cop Is Under Investigation For This Disgraceful Rant At An Uber Driver

This footage was captured by the Uber driver's passengers when the cop began yelling at the man and mocking his accent. His crime? Honking at the officer for parking without signalling

The police officer filmed unleashing a xenophobic rant at an Uber driver has found himself under investigation by the New York Police Department. The plainclothes officer has been identified as a member of the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force.

In the footage, filmed by the Uber driver’s passenger, the policeman screams at the driver after he honked at his unmarked car for parking without using indicators. During his rant, the officer threatens to arrest the guy, but says he has “things to do… This isn’t important enough for me. You’re not important enough.” He then goes on to mock the driver’s accent, and also belittles him in front of the other passengers.

Fortunately, Vice News reports that New York cops have identified the officer, and the case has been turned over to the Internal Affairs Bureau. Uber also made a statement, saying: “We are in touch with our driver-partner who was subjected to this terrible experience and will continue to provide any support he needs.”
