Feel The Fury Of Kia’s Wide-Body Stinger
This outrageous-looking Kia is a Stinger that’s been modified quite a lot. The DUB Stinger sits on Dropstars 22-inch alloy wheels barely contained by seriously flared new arches. With zero gap between tyres and arches it looks practically motorsport-spec.
It actually rides on height-adjustable air suspension, so it really could handle the road if it needed to. Powering it is the standard 365bhp 3.3-litre V6, albeit wit some cosmetic add-ons to make things a little spanglier under the bonnet.
The brushed steel finish suits it perfectly. Among the new panels are the rear doors, which have to curve massively in order to shape to the new arch dimensions.
You’ll need to brace before looking at the interior. There’s so much red leather over the mix of black leather and black suede that it’s a bit like stepping into the wrong bar in Amsterdam. Out of shot there’s a powerful aftermarket stereo system controlled through the Stinger’s normal interface.
What say you, CTzens? Is this the Kia that takes the company to new heights of desirability, or are you just not feeling it?

Next thing will be a Liberty Walk Stinger
I want that
I love it!
Wow, that looks incredible.
I can see kia making racecars one day
They already do
The wheels are way too big for my taste but other than that it’s realy cool
That is gorgeous.
We have gone too far with wheel sizes. Riding on 18-19” would be more than enough for it, would reduce running costs (tires), would reduce wheel damage and most importantly vertebrae damage. But yeah, “small” tires are ugly in the age of hellaflush, so yeah “motorsport spec” wheels are the bomb. This is a DUB car so that is to be expected, sad thing is tho, manufacturers took notice, and thus we have examples Boxsters running on 20” wheels from the GT3 RS as factory option. Meanwhile the cup cars are running 18” for handling track duty, but hey, for those that run rough asphalt roads, better have the much stiffer much lower sidewall tires, because looks like a racecar yo.
It’s just a show car. People do it for style.
Damn I want one of those!!! Looks really good!
The wide-body Stinger has already happened! There was a wide-body blue one at the NY Autoshow this year. It was so flush and clean, I didn’t realize it was a wide-body until I got home later that day.
“DUB”
HOUSE REAL BIG, CARS REAL BIG, RIMS REAL BIG, EVERYTHING REAL BIG
Mmmm. Debatable. That just means compensation for something
