A Foolish Uber Driver Turned His Car Into A Boat After Misjudging The Tide

While returning to the mainland via a partially submerged causeway, this Uber driver was forced to abandon his car and be rescued by the coastguard

Lindisfarne Castle sits on a pretty little island in North East England. You can get there via car too, so long as you wait for low tide, which exposes a causeway.

However, as often seen with these sorts of roads, one man - an Uber driver - misjudged the tides a little bit, and ended up trying to drive back to the mainland through deep water.

He made it to a high point of the road which had yet to be fully submerged, where he and his passengers were rescued by an RNLI lifeboat. We’re hoping the passengers weren’t charged for the Uber ride…

I’m surprised he made it THAT far without sinking.

Jesus can walk on water.

The driver can drive through water.

Could the driver be Jesus Christ?
