The Ford Edge ST Is The Warmed-Up SUV We Weren't Expecting
Ford has confirmed that the Edge ST is happening. That’s right, a hot SUV with a sprinkling of Ford Performance magic is coming.
Depending on which side of the Atlantic you call home, the either massive or barely mid-sized SUV has been given suspension upgrades, an eight-speed automatic with Sport Mode, all-wheel drive and a turbocharged EcoBoost V6 with 335bhp and 380lb ft.
It isn’t much faster than the American Edge Sport model, gaining just 20bhp and 30lb ft. But it should handle with loads more poise and panache. In fairness, it probably won’t come to the UK but America should lap it up – or at least that’s what Ford is hoping.
The one slightly iffy part that we can see in the fun reveal video, featuring a certain Ben Collins of Top Gear’s Stig fame, is the noise. It sounds a bit flat for a sporty V6. We’ll look out for more on this in the next few weeks.

But why?
If only they went the ford raptor route, imagine a ford suv like the 1st gen raptor

So this is a First ever ST that doesn’t have a manual, or fwd
Or is compact
But Ford arw known for handling witchcraft, so dunno this might work
Meanwhile, Focus ST’s are being Found On Road Dead. I wonder why. Too busy engineering “sporty” compact suv’s and gay ecoboost mustangs and raptors.
It should sell good if the price is good
But does it have drift mode?
I wanted a fiesta rs
