The Ford Fiesta Has Already Been Rendered As An ST And RS

Want to know how the eventual Fiesta ST and perhaps unlikely Fiesta RS could look? Check out these renders
The Ford Fiesta Has Already Been Rendered As An ST And RS

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: the Internet’s car renders work damn fast. Just take these sporty Fiesta renders, which Hungarian renderer X-Tomi Design put together mere days after the all-new version of Ford’s big-selling supermini was revealed.

Let’s start with the Fiesta ST, as that’s a car which we can say is going to happen with near certainty. Its looks aren’t surprising, since the new Fiesta doesn’t represent a radical departure from the old one in terms of styling. This ST vision is perhaps a little prettier than the current car, though.

What’ll be nestling under the bonnet is something of a mystery: Ford could simply update the existing, surprisingly muscular 1.6-litre turbocharged four-pot, but there have been rumours in the past about a future Fiesta ST adopting a highly modified version of the 1.0-litre Ecoboost engine.

Next up, we have a Fiesta RS. Ford ruled out an RS version of the outgoing Fiesta on multiple occasions, but the next-gen car? Who knows.

If it did happen and the ST was powered by a three-pot, perhaps the RS would use a four-cylinder engine. We’re speculating massively of course, but then this is a hypothetical car which probably won’t happen.

Which do you like the look of the most: the ST, or the RS?

chris harris drove de Formula Ford which has the same engine as the fiesta 1.0L but a bigger turbo and thats it…no other midification on it and it produced 208 hp…the problem with the fiesta is that is heavier than the f-ford and that puts load on the engine…the only solution to this problem is to make bigger 3cyl engines…why 3cyl you may ask?…they have big potential with torque…bmw start putting 3cyl in their 3 series…sorry for the bad english :)

If Ford ever make a Fiesta RS it should be called RS Turbo

I’m gonna be honest, it looks like someone who’s had a few too many facelifts, causing their eyes to be pulled back way too far and their mouth stuck open because of it. :/ plus, on top of that, it’s got high lines, meaning the rear screen and windows are tiny to look out of. But hey, that’s my opinion I guess.

Reckon there isn’t going to be a fiesta RS because the rationale that ford applied to the previous gen still applies to this one. Ford said it won’t make a fiesta RS because that would mean competing against there own focus ST.
