Some commercial hook-ups leave you wondering how the hell they came about. Here’s the latest that will twang your brain strings until they snap: Formula E has today joined with the Fallout franchise to mark the official launch of Fallout 76 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
In a bizarre video tweeted by the official Formula E account, we see Fallout-derived targeting graphics overlaid onto old footage of a high-profile Formula E crash in 2016 that saw Lucas Di Grassi smash into the back of fellow championship contender Sebastien Buemi at the first corner. Why this mash-up? We’ve no idea. We don’t hate it, though…
