Forza Motorsport 5 On Xbox One Will Blow Your Mind
Hot on the heels of Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 6 announcement, Microsoft revealed that Forza Motorsport - GT's biggest rival - will release its next instalment on the new Xbox One entertainment system.
Along with the news that Forza Motorsport 5 will be available at launch, Microsoft were kind enough to throw a video and some beautiful screenshots our way. Admittedly they should be taken with a pinch of salt as these releases tend to be pre-rendered and not indicative of in-game visuals.
That being said, the McLaren P1 in the video shows visible signs of tyre wear and flaking rubber, which could indicate revolutionary tyre modeling.
The video also hints that races will be covered by commentary, however we feel that not only is this an unnecessary distraction from the racing, it already sounds fairly generic - how many times will your hear "what a pass!" before you hit mute?
Details are thin on the ground, however more information is expected at E3 later this year.
