Forza Motorsport 7 Looks Absolutely Incredible In 4K Gameplay Footage
A major strength of the Forza franchise has always been stunning graphics and realistic visuals, but that looks to have been taken to all-new and uber-beautiful levels with Forza Motorsport 7.
FM7 was officially announced at E3 last weekend, with the spectacular Porsche 911 GT2 RS being revealed as its cover star and a release date of 3 October confirmed for Xbox One and Windows 10.
It’s been built from the ground up for the new Xbox One X, though, and it’ll hit shelves in early November for the console being called the “world’s most powerful.” Because of the Xbox One X’s power boost, Forza 7 is able to run in 4K at 60 frames per second. Oof.
Gameplay footage in 4K has now been released, via The Verge, showing-off razor-sharp graphics, super-detailed visuals and the much-talked-about new dynamic weather system.
So, sit back, relax and enjoy five minutes of amazing gameplay from FM7 as a Nissan GT-R (of course) is raced around the Nurburgring (obviously).

I don’t know if it’s the video that make it look that way but I can see some huge fps drop. Otherwise looks pretty good for a console that will now make real 1080p at 60 fps with upscale to 4k
Can I still say “Oh wow 4K!” if I’m watching the video on a 2K screen at 1080p?
Looks great the only issue with 4k is that tvs tend to have a certain amount of latency. For some its not much of an issue but for hardcore racers, that little delay in input can make or break the race. That being said I’ll try the 4k for a bit but when i get serious ill dumb it down to 1080p for potentially smoother gameplay and more direct input of the vehicle
That gameplay is AWFUL.
We need the option to adjust steering lock
“… 4K gameplay footage”… That you can only watch in 1080p.
Watching forza 7 in 4k on a 1080p screen is exactly the same as watching forza 6…..so I won’t be getting it until it’s half price
To make forza 7 graphic
Step 1: hired some lads at evolution studios
Step 2: done
when the rain stopped and the last few water droplets from screen faded away I could almost smell petrichor.
