This Furious Twin-Turbo Bull Is The First Lamborghini Huracan To Run An 8sec 1/4-Mile
A highly-modified Huracan from Heffner Performance became the fastest Huracan in the world by setting an 8.3 second quarter at 176mph
According to Drag Times, during the 8.6sec run, this monstrous Huracan managed to go from 0-60mph in 1.9 seconds and 0-100mph in 3.7 seconds, despite a healthy dose of wheelspin off the line. It’s all possible thanks to a rebuilt 5.2-litre V10 fed by a twin-turbo system running at 18psi. The seven-speed DCT gearbox has been given new SSP Performance clutches, and a set of Mickey Thompson drag radials help all that V10 fury find its way to the tarmac.

Audi uses a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic for the RS6 because according to them the dual-clutch box wouldn’t be able to handle the torque and power BUT there are plenty of these 2000hp+ Hurucan’s still using dual-clutch transmissions. How does these transmissions cope with that amount of power and grip?
“SSP Performance clutch”
So Huracan is still single clutch? Didn’t know that. Thanks m8.
