Get An Up Close Look At The New Porsche 911 GT3 RS
The GT3 version of the 991 generation 911 has been with us since last year, but the much-anticipated, more hardcore ‘RS’ version is yet to hit showrooms. Now though, we’re able to get a good look at this beast, thanks to this spot of two GT3 RS prototypes in the US by a 6speedonline member. As well as numerous pictures (click here to see the full set), there’s also a video giving an up-close look at one of the virtually undisguised prototypes, although it is shot vertically, sadly…
In the new RS, we can expect a tinkered version of the standard GT3’s 3.8-litre flat-six with a power figure nudging 500bhp. The suspension and brakes will be extensively overhauled, the interior even more stripped-back, and as we can see from the images and video, a roll cage in the rear just like the previous version.
