GTA Online’s New Vehicle Is A Monstrous, Customisable Armoured SUV
New updates and game modes continue to join GTA Online, with the latest vehicle being a beast of an SUV with full armour, lots of customisation and miniguns under the front headlights.
Perfect for players to defend themselves from rivals of the arms trade in Los Santos, as they attempt to smuggle weapons across San Andreas and take on their enemies with monstrous, lethal pieces of motoring equipment.
The HYV Nightshark was shown off in the Gunrunning trailer, but while all of the other vehicles from the video have been released, it’s taken until now for the armoured SUV to arrive in GTA Online. It can be purchased from the Warstock website in the game for a not-so-cheap $1,245,000.
As has been the case with some of the newer vehicles, there are lots of customisation options, and you can even take it to Los Santos Customs for tweaks and changes (rather than having to upgrade the Mobile Operations Centre).
There’s also a new adversary mode, which sounds an awful like Overtime Rumble and is actually very similar. Overtime Rumble is basically like darts but with cars and parachutes, and is a team-based mode for up to 10 players.
Well, while everyone goes at the same time in that mode, the new Overtime Shootout gives each player a time to shine – rewarding accuracy and finesse. It’s basically like Overtime Rumble but in the style of a shootout.
There’s double GTA$ and RP for Overtime Shootout through to the 14 August. Plus, there’s 25 per cent off the Mobile Operations Centre, weaponised vehicle customisations and MK II Ammo types through to that date as well (and double GTA$ salaries for bodyguards and associates).
