This Guy's Paper Model McLaren P1 Is A Master Class In DIY Greatness
Feast your eyes on this incredible paper-made McLaren P1. Created by graphic design artist Taras Lesko - he’s the same guy who made the 2.4-metre long Aventador A-E2 last year - the P1 was made by assembling textured printed templates that he created (139 parts over 40 pages).
As you can see, the attention to detail is incredible. The wheels, cooling ducts, spoilers and lights look every bit as good as the real thing, and the flat paper edges make the DIY project look spectacularly rugged.
To buy the kit for yourself, head over to the Visual Spicer website. To download the PDF, you’ll need $3.99, while a printed template will set you back $24.99.
In case a P1 doesn’t tickle your fancy, check out the rest of his templates that are also available to buy.
