Here Are The Full Track And Car Lists For Gran Turismo Sport

Gran Turismo Sport is - at last - almost upon us. There’s an extensive demo going live early next week, followed by the full game on 17 October in North America and 18 October in Europe.

Want to know what kind of automotive shenanigans will be possible from those magic dates onwards? We’ve good news: the full track and car lists are now available.

Let’s kick off proceedings with the tracks, of which there are 40 to choose from at 17 different locations. There’s an eclectic mix of tracks including legendary facilities like Brands Hatch and the Nurburgring, fictional street circuits like Alcase Village and Tokyo Expressway, and finally the one I’m most excited about, Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit - aka Bathurst.

Having been sampling some of Forza 7‘s 700-strong car list, GT Sport’s roster of 162 seems a tad disappointing. That said, there should be something for everyone, with hot hatchbacks, supercars, racing cars, no less than 34 Vision Gran Turismo concepts and much more besides to choose from.

Very interesting track list. Many less common tracks in there, along with the usuals. Nice to see

so, 2 ferraris, there´s a peugeot that practically covers all groups except the prototype one, 3 mclarens and no P-1, no porsche 918 or gt2, 2 nissans, 1 evo. loving this list! they are keeping things simple and that´s clearly a good bet. I hope the DLC´s aren´t free so that we can pay them the respect they are giving to the fans and that they deserve back.

Midfield Raceway? Trial Mountain? Deep Forest? Laguna Seca? Grand Valley? Tokyo R246? Special Stage Route 5, 7 and X? Autumn Ring? Cape Ring? Eigernordwand? High Speed Ring? Kart Space? WHY ARE ALL THE GRAN TURISMO CLASSICS DYING OUT?! Monza, Le Mans, Spa, Fuji Speedway, Indianapolis, Tsukuba, Motegi… Don’t tell me they’re all gone! Not even Monaco? Rome? Madrid? London? Apricot Hill, Circuito de la Sierra, Matterhorn? I dare you, Polyphony, include all these or I will switch to Forza… And please FINALLY bring back Seattle Circuit, Costa di Amalfi, El Capitan, Citta di Aria…

Something that people need to understand is that Sport is NOT GT7, it is instead a sort of “model” for GT7, simillar to GT5 Prologue, GT HD Concept or GT 2000. For example, GT5 featured the full roster of 900ish cars, whereas GT5 Prologue featured only premium cars. It’s basically supposed to show the fans the future of GT.

Either that, or im just plain wrong. You never know
