Here’s The Awkward Moment A McLaren P1 GTR Almost Wiped Out On Laguna Seca’s Corkscrew
In a video that shows us that even the pros get it wrong from time-to-time, one of the factory P1 GTRs has a big moment at the fearsome Laguna Seca Corkscrew with a professional driver at the wheel
According to the video description, at the time of the spin the pro driver here was setting a fast lap time as a benchmark for P1 GTR customers to aim for. Clearly, he was very committed to setting a good time!

Well the power was there ^^ he wanted save it by drift it but.. race car. no angle xD RIP. car to low for corkscrew i think..
He shouldn’t have insisted after he started to lose the rear end
Lol, the slow mo braking part sounds like a steam train haha
1000hp aint for everyone
Haha that’s not really power-related… Just mid-corner oversteer that wasn’t corrected early. Well the driver got on the throttle while already in oversteer which didn’t help but that’s the kind of thing that you can experience in a “weak” Peugeot 106…
That moment when you almost wreck a $2mil+ track car
That could have been a cartastrophe.
Turning radius of Jupiter..
Got me cringing so hard right now
Why?
Came in too hot!
