With just 100 CLK DTM coupes built, most of us are unlikely to ever get close to one of these 574bhp beasts. Happily however, quirk-lover Doug DeMuro got his hands on one - which sneaked into the USA via an import loophole - to take a closer look and bring us along for the ride.
You should know the score by now: Doug takes us through all of the DTM’s cool and weird features, from the (surprisingly) fake vents to the ‘minimalist’ door cards and the frankly weird steering wheel.
Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.

I remember driving CLK DTM in Test Drive Unlimited, it was first time I’ve heard about it. Before that I didn’t even know it existed. One of my dream cars.
Still partial to the Black Series over this due to the more subdued styling. This car looked wicked when I was like 7 though.
