Idiot Moped Rider Tries to Fake a Crash for Cash

He tried, he really did. 3/10. Maybe he should go look for a proper job.Pity she told him the camera was running. Should have called the police and waited...

We know it wouldn’t be funny if it happened to us, but we can’t help but laugh at what seems to be a truly awful staged attempt at a crash-for-cash wheeze.

We join the action somewhere in the UK on a residential street. As the camera car – whose dash-cam may have just paid for itself many times over – drives down the street towards a junction, a rider emerges alongside a moped, stopping it in the road as the car approaches before running it backwards and smashing it into the car.

Here's The Hilarious Moment A Moped Rider Apparently Tries To Fake A Crash-For-Cash Scam

The scumbag then throws himself (we’re going by body shape to pick a gender) backwards onto the bonnet, at which point his mate on the pavement seems to start filming the event – presumably as ‘proof’ of the impending personal injuries claim.

But as the shocked driver gets out of the car to confront the idiots, she points out the dash-cam and the two maggots make as run for it when they realise they’re rumbled. It’s astonishing footage. So astonishing, in fact, that we’re not completely convinced this isn’t a setup – a fake designed to win clicks. We’ll keep an eye out.

I wouldn’t have pointed the dash cam out until the Police had arrived.

That’s what I would have done. Called the police when they arrive say, oh I forgot I had a dash cam, would you like to see the footage. Scumbags arrested.

I bought a dash cam ( Viofo a119) and this is one reason why. I drive a Mercedes and dont want to sound crude but when I drove a Honda people didn’t use to do this. People will fly by me on the highway cut right in front of me and slam on brakes, I assume trying to get me to rear end them so they can sue me because they think I have money. It only started happening when I bought my new Mercedes. One of my friends has a Mercedes as well and he made the comment about people doing that to him and I was like omg they do it to me too. So now I bought 2 dash cams ( both Viofo a119) one facing front and one facing back to show them run past me then swerving in front and slamming on brake.

This is probably faked, but the people who try to pull off crash-for-cash schemes in real life are the lowest scum of the planet.

I would’ve let the whole thing pan out and at the end just say “do you know what a dashcam is?”
