Here’s How F1 Teams Ship Their Equipment Around The World
Formula 1 teams have stuff. Lots of stuff. It’s more than just the cars that have to travel from race to race - there are the spare parts, the garage equipment, the computing systems, the enormous motorhomes and plenty more to deal with, too.
Dismantling it all, packing it away, going to the next race and getting it all set up again is a massive operation, especially when races are held on consecutive weekends. From the relatively straightforward method of bundling it all on lorries for European rounds, to the months of planning and preparation required for the ‘flyaway’ races in Asia and the Americas, this video from Wendover Productions does a brilliant job of explaining the logistical challenge that goes into transporting Formula 1 around the world.

wow
It’s amazing to think that they can transport all that stuff so fast. I didn’t know they had to set up the whole garage, I thought it was pre-made by race organizers for them. What do I know?
Sadly not, in most motorsports the teams have to bring everything, all they are provided with is usually just tyres, fuel, a spot on the grid, and garage space, everything else is left up to the teams. The requirements and rule books for motorsports can sometimes make an interesting read and give a pretty good insight, for example, BTCC teams have to pay about £20k for entry and the drivers have to pay a further £10k
a friend of mine once drove a truck for f1.
he didnt know what was in it sadly
You could name their formula for logistics 1, for example
Sounds about as simple as Maldanado having a clean race. Or an old Land Rover not leaking (Personal feels).
