Having extra cash definitely makes it easier to enjoy the finer things and live like a VIP, and that’s something the latest Volvo VNL can help with.

Thanks to Volvo Trucks’ Turbo Compound engine technology (in additon to the truck model’s already aerodynamic design, fuel economy and performance focus), it offers significant fuel savings. And with an increase of of up to 11 per cent fuel savings compared to Volvo’s 2015 model-year trucks, that results in real savings.

Here's How Volvo Trucks’ Turbo Compound Engine Helps You Live Like A VIP

Considering the average fuel price and 125,000 miles driven, an increase of up to 11 percent in fuel savings equates to approximately $1200 per year per truck. When you add that up, imagine what can be done and invested in with the money saved!

It’s certainly worked out well for Bob, our hero professional driver in the latest creative Volvo Trucks commercial dubbed ‘The Cash Machine’. From enjoying a gourmet dinner to getting a great haircut at the barber shop to driving a gold-plated truck, the efficiency of the Volvo VNL allows Bob to treat himself once in a while. After clocking all those miles, he deserves it!

There was a show years ago called Trick My Truck. It was Pimp My Ride but for trucks. Meaning everything was superficial and no real mechanical work was done

Nice to see truck content like this on Car Throttle. 👍 & also, those Volvo VNLs sure are pretty looking trucks.

I think CT should post more content regarding trucks, they are great pieces of engineering after all :). Not that anyone cares but my love for cars actually spawned from big rigs! :)
