Here's How You Re-Tread A $1000 Airless Tyre
While airless tyres have yet to make it to cars, they're gaining traction (sorry...) in the world of heavy duty industrial machines. But how do you retread one of these hoops? Watch and learn...
There’s no sound on this fascinating video, so perhaps stick on a bit of music (some relaxing classical tunes, perhaps?) and watch these guys at work. It’s a little mesmerising!

Is this gonna be a pun tread?
The first image for this article is the same as the last
Um…
Yea, i got that aswell
Why are you working on Christmas Day?😂😂
Petrolheads & car fans don’t stop being petrolheads & carfans just because it’s Christmas.
Pointless.. They already had perfectly good threads to them.. Why don’t they ever show a good worn tire that was burned hard and had like 1mm of thread left?
Must be very tyring.
Those guys were on a roll.
What age is that retreading tehnology from. We have machines from 70s and the process is more modern and efficient than that. Im thinking of making a video to show you how we do it in Croatia, these guys are slow and clumsy. If I processed tyres so slowly I woud get in trouble for slowing down production.
