2:01 that’s the most peaceful crash I’ve ever seen.
And does that last crash count as a reverse-entry-drift? =p

BMWs are cheap in Europe - especially Germany. A 3-series is a typical family car over here.

Do they lock up all of the tires on purpose? I have never drove on a track before. Or is it a manual car thing?

I don’t know if these guys did it on purpose or not, but you’re supposed to once you’ve completely lost the car. if you lock up your wheels, the car travels in a more predictable path, which means that you wont get thrown into the wall (like the guy at 0:46, locking up might have saved his car) and you won’t roll back onto/across the track, in front of a bunch of people. (Like the guy at 1:28, if there was a pack of cars coming around that corner, he could have been t-boned)

I think the crashes themselves (while bad) aren’t really a risk to the other drivers (after all, you should see a car sliding around).
But the problem is that it can take a while until dirt&debris are removed, both of which are a risk for other drivers.
